About You 2.0

Fall of 2008 I made a trip out to California to interview the key players in the life hacking movement for a documentary for my Honors Thesis Project. They were kind enough to give their time and thus You 2.0 was born.

Awesome site you’ve got going here! (just curious, are you any sort of designer as well? Cause you’re website design here is awesome!)

Thanks! I do a little design, but nothing like this. It’s from Smashingmagazine.com.

Awesome to see a movie about personal productivity. I’ve been waiting for something like this, and I’m glad you’ve decided to make it a goal, Joey!

Sorry to ask a stupid question but is your film focusing on the use of web based products to increase productivity? Is it about Web 2.0 and it impact on productivity of everyday life? Really interested in this stuff….

It ties into Web 2.0, but it’s more about the ideas behind what Web 2.0 is bringing, such as more information and distractions as well as tools to get more done, rather than specific products. Glad you’re interested!

I recognize Timothy Ferris and James Allen — who are the other people pictured in your banner?

From left to right it’s Merlin Mann, Leo Laporte, Tim Ferriss, Ramit Sethi, and David Allen.
